Question
・Can 3DMG_Flex reflect cutting and filling (excavation and embankment)?
・How does the As-built data get uploaded from the tablet to the server?
・Please explain the mechanism by which As-built data is generated, including which machine movements are reflected as history.
Answer
・3DMG_Flex can reflect the As-buit data of both cutting and filling.
The terrain is updated to the latest shape by traveling based on the position of the underside of the tracks (or tires).
The mechanism for generating As-built data is explained below in two parts.
1) The flow of how construction history is uploaded from the tablet to Smart Construction Pilot (Web version)
2) Specifications for history generation (which machine movements are reflected as history)
Explanation
1) The flow of how As-built data is uploaded from the tablet to Smart Construction Pilot (Web version)
The As-built data is sent from the tablet to the server side, point cloud data is generated on the server side, and then it is uploaded to Smart Construction Pilot (Web version).
As-built data is transmitted every 10 minutes.
After the data is uploaded to Smart Construction Pilot (Web version), you can select "Construction Results" on the management screen to retrieve and download the history.
Nothing will be displayed on the screen unless you perform the construction history retrieval operation using the + button.
2) Specifications for history generation (which machine movements are reflected as history)
(Forward/reverse movement patterns)
(Filling/cutting patterns)
3) Regarding the Density of As-Built Data
Data is generated at 10-cm intervals in the NE direction.
Supplementary Notes
・The retrieval position of the construction history is determined by the position measured during vehicle calibration. (According to the calibration manual)
【For bulldozers】
Rear / Front
The measurement affects the results of position measurement and As-built data. In particular, the height direction requires consideration depending on the geology of the construction ground, etc.
